as I already had the pleasure beeing able to report about the new technological achievements (silicon escape wheel and ceramic ball bearings covered in this recent
article) I'll focus on the complete watch here.
Ref. 5250 is a limited edition of 100 pieces only, white gold case of the new 5146 and unique dial for this reference. I've to say I love this dial, it's silvered and staright grain brushed (pr-release says sunburst, but it's straight grain vertically) with 12-3-9 in applied arabics and the other hours beeing the typical PP stick markers. The applied hour markers are of very special glossy, anthracite colour almost metallic and thus resembling the silicon colour of the escape wheel - really stunning colour combination!
The back crystal features a magnifying loupe above the escapement area revealing a intriguing view of the escape wheel part with sceletonized bridge.
At the time it wasn't completely clear how this limited edition will be distributed (and with 100 pieces only worldwide it already will be very difficult to get one
). More news on this as soon as possible.
