Kind of lukewarm on this one. For me, the size of the "Patek Philippe Geneva" really detracts from this piece.
The case proportions seem very nice and appear different from the 5296 (IMO, the bezel of which is, along with the lugs, simply too thin--a criticism I'd level at the case thickness of the 5296 as well). It seems like Patek has cured this problem with the 5396 and the case proportions look great.
Finally, I would really have liked an analog date indicator around the perimeter of the moonphase instead of the 24hr indicator, but I think we all know that Patek couldn't have done that as it would have looked too much like the breathtaking windows perpetuals of yore.
