Hi Claude,
...sceletonized leaf hands have been around for probably more than hundred years - to call those "Sonata" hands would mean to ignore the largest part of watchmaking design history.
BTW, IMO the designers at UN successfully evolved this shape to a very unique result - and far away from this ones.
Same for the date hand - do you actually know how many brands already used those "half moon" style date hands in the past? Connecting this style to any brand in fact is again like entirely ignoring a major period of watchmaking.
I completely understand this isn't to everyones taste (myself included, BTW...)which is true for almost all designs as well - it simply can't be for everyone.
What I don't understand is, trying to support those personal feelings through accusations of plagiarism or copying, or whatever.
That's simply missing the point and IMVHO, almost falsifying history.
Just like those statements about ref. 6000 - just go back 80 years and have a look which companies already created designs with even more similar elements.
Sorry for the rant, and please don't take me wrong - as said I can understand (and I've to admit that I'm even much more picky with what I really like

) that not everything is everyones taste - but why not simply say "I don't like it". It would do it justice much better IMO.
Best regards
Suitbert
