Conservatism

I admit I am relatively new to Patek, but I look at the new offerings and don't see anything that shocks the senses or will cause riots in the street. The brand has to develop and grow to some extent, otherwise it is just stale. How many versions of roman numerals, white face and hobnail bezels can remain fresh and interesting? I realize Patek is known for its classicism, but it seems to me that part of that has always been keeping certain design elements while adding, experimenting with or expanding on others. The last few years don't seem to be out of line with the history to me.
