HELP: 5065 vs. APRO Jumbo or Chrono.

Hi, this is my first post!-I am considering purchasing a 5065, but am torn between the APRO or Jumbo. The 5065 would be my first PP-I am wondering, which would be the best value...all things considered? Would the 5065 hold it's value better...especially since I prefer the bracelet and would never keep it. Unlike the RO.

Thanks for your time and input!

Try them on your wrist!

I keep looking at the ROs, Jumbo, Offshore, and otherwise -- and as much as I love them, they just don't "sit" right on my wrist. Other "big" watches, including the VC Overseas and UN Maxi Marine Chronometer, not to mention my Parmigiani Kalpa Grande, do just fine -- there's just something specifically about the case, lug, hinge shape and function on the RO that makes it a no-go for me.

On the other hand, I was in a PP AD a few months ago and just for kicks looked at the 5065. Voila -- much prettier in the metal than in photos, slim, and most importantly, wrapped around my wrist as if they were made for each other!

My 5065 will be arriving next week...this isn't to say that one watch is superior to the other, but that fit really matters, IMHO.

Best,

Gary G

This is of course the PP forum,

but I would say that I love the 5065, but have never warmed up personally to any model of the APRO--though I understand this is a highly respected sport watch, it just doesn't do it for me.
