We are a portuguese couple (38 years - me and 30 - she) living in Lisbon, Portugal, and we are thinking of going to Libya to travel on hollidays. I' m thinking of going at the embassy in Lisbon, of course, but this could be a way to kwow more about Libya.
We like to travel by car and we don't like the tourist places. We loved Marrocos and Turkey and we thought of going to Jordania, but at this time could be a lit bit deangerous.
We are, both, journalists, but our trip is in hollidays. But maybe you could give us some contacts of some our collegues, because it's a way of starting the trip. We did the same in Turkey and we made some good friends.
We also not have a lot of money, so, for us could be better to fly to Tunis, Tunisia and rent a car there.
Is it possible to cross the border with a car rented in Tunisia?
Could you give me the prices for eating, sleeping and general things?
And, at last, do you know some good internet sites about Libya?
