Six arrested after football brawl
Police have arrested six people and searched several homes after an investigation into violent clashes after a football match in Nottingham.

The six fans are being questioned about a brawl between Notts County and Boston United supporters in October 2004.

The fight began outside Nottingham railway station as fans were making their way home from Meadow Lane ground.

A Boston United supporter was taken to hospital for treatment after he was hit in the face with a glass.

A chair and a metal pole were also thrown in the disturbance as 20 men clashed on the crowded station concourse.

British Transport Police have been studying CCTV footage of the fight.

The six Nottinghamshire men are being questioned at a city police station.

all 6 got 3 year bans and 140 hours comunity service. boston started gobing off and getting brave in the bentick pub (next to the station), went to the train station and ended up getting a good kicking. next thing, there helping the ob to id notts lads involved. bit shity that boston, crying about getting a kicking you deserved and getting six lads banned.

also, the notts lads you had it with had split away from their main group and were on their way into the city centre for a piss up. you outnumbered them by at least two to one, and you still get your arses kicked, wankers.
now boston, before you start putting all threats and bullshit in your replies to this, let me tell you about myself. i am 45 years old and was active untill recent banning order. have been into the scene for about 30 years, was doing european cup finals aged 18 & 19. travelled all over europe with forest and england, done world cups, the lot, met most uk firms. so boston, i think i know what i am on about.
ive read some treads on this board, and a few twats are using it. i have seen posts from the likes of grimsby, lincoln and scunny. now i dont know how any boston "lads" can slag them off and give it large to them. these are firms who have proved themselves on the international and deomestic scene.
boston, i think its time you changed your attitude and got wise to a few things. the main one being, your a fucking joke.

I was there (and for the match this season) and can confirm the following;

the Boston fans, including me, from Boston weren't getting lippy in the pub near the station - the only excitement in that shitehole was a hen party if I remember correctly, then everyone started leaving to get the train. As we all left, a few sad cases (about 8 -12) followed, numbers were slightly even if a little in favour of the locals, the Boston lads didn't really want to know, a few, 3 or 4, had a go back, gave a pretty good account of themselves near the taxi rank before getting into the station where unfortunately one got caught on the camera hurling a chair back at the scum who decided to start matters.

Yes some Boston fans gave statements to the cops afterwards while looking after a young lad carrying a flag and minding his own business got bottled by your hardmen and was left with blood streaming out of his chin.

At this point, not claiming to be in the know or really bothered about this sort of crap, but pots and kettles spring to mind - everyone knows Forest went running to the police for protection in Swansea not so long ago.

Face facts muppet, none of the lads concerned really wanted to get involved other than sticking up for themselves. The big question is if your lot were such in the know hardmen and wanted to prove a point why the hell weren't they on the platform below where they would have found about 25 blokes (as opposed to lads) who hardly ever travel but were well up for a 'chat' following their escort back to the station from the Trent Navigation during the game.

Your scum jumped some stragglers who weren't interested in scuffling, came off slightly the worst from what I saw and a result look a bit silly now. I bet you are gutted now as while we were waiting to get the later train home, the police were going crackers as a trainful of Plymouth 'lads' were pulling in for a night out on your town on their way back Sheffield Utd - still if you couldn't sort out us Pilgrims, wouldn't rate your chances with the bigger Pilgrims.

The police have said you are not rated locally and I think that sums it up don't you? You're not the father in the father and son act who both got arrested and found guilty in this sad incident are you by any chance? I bet you are really proud. Enjoy your 180 hours community service now won't you!

for a start, it wasnt my lot. if you had read my posts you will notice i am forest. am definatly not from the father and son act, that fat bold headed twat is one big standing joke. as for saying we are not rated, anyone in the know will tell you forest are well respected, especially the older generation. just ask the icf, gremlins, guvners, bbc, bushwackers, headhunters, zulus, steamers, and any other firm. as for county picking off straglers, well they have to do the sniper bit as they havnt the numbers, but i dont agree with the kid with the flag getting it, out of order. and if your older lads in the station were so good, why didnt they help out.
