Are we fuck who wants to come to the 'last resort'? Never known such a low key start to a new season, in, out and home....

People take the mick out of BOSTON but the longer we are in the football 'big' league, the more everyone realises what a pile of crap it actually is, populated by miserable, crap, in some cases completely (Hull City - the biggest city never to have been in the first / prem div) towns and cities.

So what if we haven't got any 'lads'? Let's be honest, when you see how little trouble these days there is, who gives a shit?!

Who gives a fuck to be honest, our town has it's shortcomings, at least we admit it, get on with life, unlike the likes of Scumbsy (Grismby); Darlington / Hartlepool (cold and very grim - in August/September, let alone Winter!); Mansfield (bigger town and far more desireable central UK location than BOSTON but far more charity shops and even crapper railway station - you love your holidays in Skegness, that says it all really); Bristol (big city, small town mentality, will never make the Premier League of football clubs or cities come to think of it): Swansea (grim - full stop, say no more); Rochdale/Bury (both look and feel the same, have that 1890's early 1900's feel, grim, wet and miserable, just need the trams reinstating realyy); Oxford/Swindon (middle England - boring towns/cities that think they are big clubs); Scunthorpe (boring just like BOSTON but slightly bigger and with more unemployment); Hereford (even more inbred than BOSTON, and that takes some doing, must be the Welsh borders?!); in fact the only plus point I can find with the football league is Torquay - just like Boston but with ish or smaller gates, sunshine and more drugs/booze if you look hard enough but not hassle (their lads non-existent bar a one off in O'Connells, but missing the last two seasons).

Pre-season optimism? Fuck that, bring on another season, too soon, over the top stewards, over pricing, over this, over that, bollocks!

See you all in the Last Resort at about 12.30 everyone?!

Love you all 4th div clubs, Boston lad who is old enough to know better.............

Yeah mate, top post. Just like Boston, Yeovil is shit - shit town shit/no firm. At least we don't spend our days typing about our super-firm and wonderful town.

Further to my pre-Scumsby rant;

1 Can't knock Yeovil as much as they get on my wick, the self-righteous, pompous fans and media darlings - great memories of YTFC - that Daryl Clare 1-0 win in the 01/2 run-in to the (now tainted) Conf championship, followed by a few jars in a Yokel pub until well after midnight with a 'local' who was originally from one of Britain's finest crap towns, Grantham, who claimed to support the mighty Ginger(in)breads, ended up home in Boston about 4am; thrashing the apple pinchers 4-1 at home during the petrol crisis of 2000, our first win that season back in the Conf, and my all time favourite, losing at home to the mighty Glovers early 90's which prompted a dozen or so up the Town End to start laying into the fancy dress clad away support. Still remember Orville the Duck getting a hammering up the top of the Town End and two fans getting banned by the chairman afterwards. That will be the same chap who recently pleaded guilty to cheating the Inland Revenue earlier this week!!!

2 Evans - dear oh dear, what is he doing watching the game with his/our 'chief scout' / 'bouncer' from the stands, half-time sneaking out round the back to the dressing rooms, then the same again at full-time. What a s+++house! If you love Boston as you say you do you would have been on the touchline running the team. I bet you would have been on the pitch at full-time had we beaten the might of Rochdale today Steve, lapping it up....

Looking forward to revisiting all the crap Conference towns next season, bring them on.

Bring on the metropolis that is Lincoln on Weds, it's all pay on the day, so we'll see just how brave you are, especially as the home support is down to it's thinnest. Hope your coaches leave town with their back windows in tact, couldn't help noticing the other weekend a Lincoln bus - the same company that brought the rogues into Boston at 11am last season - stranded in West Street with it's back window through after a Lincs Sunday Cup game, ha ha!!

Well put fella, totally agree with your posts. I went on saturday to the rochdale game, absolute shambles. To be fair to the players on sturday, I think there just not interested in playing for Evans anymore, he's lost their respect and ours too. It's probably only of tiem before he walks out on his "beloved" club. I can't see a furute for the club with him, hes gota go - no doubt about it.
As for wednesday fixture - I'm sure we'll all be queing for fucking miles not. Such a pitty that a local derby is'nt going to be a total sell out. As for the mighty l.t.e, I'm guessing they'll have a few faces, but who can blame them for not showing in numbers, if at all. I mean if you're a serious firm, not just a bunch of mouthy wankers - e.i vast majority of "firms" in this league, who would honestly be willing to travel to boston. 1. We don't have a firm or game lads. 2. Rediculous stewards throwing people out for voicing opinions is fucking crazy, let alone trying to have a dance with the oppositions fans.
Fatty blackwell for manager lol !
We're going down to the conference, down in the conference. But no shame on it - we've been fucked over by one fat scottish wanker - steve evans.

by now we would have invaded the pitch and thrown our season tickets at the 'manager', protests in the car park after the game but it just ain't happening. Everyone is turning their back on the club and it just isn't right, we need to be voicing an opinion but for whatever reason it's not happening.

We know some of the stewards are total wankers - the head safey officer/twat got told as much (not for the first time) when he was running the security at Trent Bridge this summer v Sri Lanka, backed up by one of the gay Lincoln skinheads who used to man the TownEnd until a season or so ago. What an arrogant Scottish shithead! Part of me hopes we go down so the twat gets put out of a job....

Why are we rolling over and just taking this shit?

FUCK SCRAPPING WITH AWAY FANS/MOBS - WE'VE GOT ENOUGH ON OUR OWN AGENDA TO HAVE IT OFF WITH THOSE RUNNING THE CLUB. WE ARE GOING DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT AND LETTING A HANDFUL OF WANKERS SHAFT THIS CLUB.

I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING THE TEAM SINCE ROTHERHAM AT HOME IN THE CUP IN THE EARLY EIGHTIES - GOD HOW WE WOULD HAVE LOVED IT BEING IN THE LEAGUE THEN. NOW WE ARE HERE, NO ONE SEEMS TO GIVE A SHIT!

FUCK EVERYONE ELSE, LET'S GET BEHIND UNITED AND TELL THE FUCKERS RUNNING THE CLUB (INTO THE GROUND) WE DON'T WANT THEM HERE! Boston till I die, we could do so much better in the league but we ain't united anymore! :(
