Hello everyone, Please take the time to read this.

A few months back a very important friend and employee of mine (for 15 years) Rich was diagnosed with a tumor in his head. After much consideration, the best option was surgery to remove the tumor. It was unfortunately tangled around his vegus nerve. This nerve goes from the brain and runs into the abdominal region controlling things such as the ability to swallow. His nerve has been in a state of paralysis since the surgery. Our hope is that the nerve will regain normal feeling and activity and Rich will be back into the full swing of things. But months have passed and with extensive surgery he is still waiting for that day. He is not able to swallow since the nerve controls this function keeping him on a feeding tube. He has lost 35 pounds in a couple months and obviously he can not work.

Rich is as good a human as there is out there. He is a father, boyfriend, brother and friend of many. He needs my help and this is where I am hoping I can count on some of you. Rich has medical insurance with me but he is still running into medical bills. He has a home etc., and disability is giving him a whopping $165/wk, which is a joke, especially when he was making $1000/wk for Professional Fire Restoration.

If you could kindly give me every cent you own, I will make sure it goes to Rich!

Seriously, on September 18th, I will be having a fundraiser golf outing at Orchard Creek Golf Course in Altamont. Golf, dinner, beverages, entertainment, etc for Rich. All of the proceeds will go directly to him to help with his road to recovery and expenses. The cost will be $125 per person for everything. I am really hoping I can count on anyone and everyone. If you can not golf and want to make a contribution or just show up for support, you are welcome to do that too. I know I forgot a ton of people on this email, so please forward this to whoever you think I forgot or might be interested.

If you aren't a golfer but would like to attend the dinner afterwards, you can do that to, with a donation cost of $50.

I would really appreciate any support here. Checks should be made out to Rich Jourdanais Fundraiser and mailed to

Thank you so much,
