As I see you are able to post a message on this forum and are aware of the forfeit procedure, as evidenced by your post to Spinners earlier in the week, I am surprised by your lack of consideration in NOT informing us of your forfeit tonight. And since NOT ONE person on your team came to the field, obviously this forfeit was known in advance.
Your team inconvenienced about 20 people tonight (i.e. the players on our team, parents/children/wives/friends who came to watch, and let's not forget about the umpire who had to sit with his thumb up his ass between the 6 and 9 PM games, or the ass't commish (who was probably umpiring his own games) that had to field a call from the umpire inquiring if anyone on your team contacted the league regarding tonight's game). It was a Friday night which makes it even better, since I am sure most people could have come up with something a little more interesting to do than sit at a field on a cold night waiting in vain for the other team to show (or not show in this case).
So, thank you for your lack of consideration and decency. I hope the rule is still in effect where if one team forfeits two games in one season they are expelled from the league. At least that way there won't be another team who is scheduled to play you sitting at the field in near freezing weather for nothing.
Take care,
Stacey

I just received your message and I sincerely apologize. I had attempted to post a forfeit notice on the same day as I posted one for the spinners. We did know we were forfeiting both games last week due to events that we had planned for the Kids in our After School Program and I had every intention and notifying both you and the Spinners. It is my fault for not checking to see if the post showed up after I was finished. I must have hit the x button a little to early. I am sorry for wasting the time of your team, your families, and the refs. Again I sincerely apology and I hope you can extend us grace.

he might actually be telling the truth cause if you notice he posted the forfeit notice to my team (spinners) twice by accident.. so its possible he thought he wrote them to both teams but just messed up
