the pilot was extremely well done, characterization wise - esp when compared to some others. I've commented on ST:TNG - now there was some stiff acting in that way - esp Jonathan Frakes, but Patrick Stewart was a little more at ease. The Xfiles is another. David Duchovny was pretty comfortable, but Gillian Anderson was not as at ease. On Hunter - I thought both leads did a superb acting job - sometimes they didn't seem to be acting at all. I'm truly impressed w/ the Pilot for that and other reasons as well. My little "issues" are like wardrobe, that "scream" - piddly stuff
