I live in Wiltshire, England and had exactly the same problem as you in that I saw some on ITV late at night a good few years ago, and before that saw some on Sky. I even remember the time I wrote to them because they screened part one of "Beautiful and Dead" and then never screened part two.
I only managed to see all the episodes I'd never seen before by meeting a kind soul on this board who copied the episodes and sent them to me from America. I was also worried about whether the tapes would play - they are a quite grainy but not too bad. Most modern video players and TV's will let you play them.
If I had a second video player I would send you some copies, but unfortunately I don't!
