Unfinished Business - 'That scene'

just an observation. While making a copy of my hunter eps for Laura, I was watching 'that scene' in unfinished business and I noticed something. When Hunter takes the cups off mccall, do you think he is handing them to someone rather than putting them down somewhere? It looks to me like he does. I don't know if any of you have thought that before.
