I took a little bit of my mom's actions and put them into Ana Theresa. My mom stood at about 5'7" or 5'8" and my brother is 6'6"...300lbs. and also cop. My mom would slap him upside the back of the head many times...sometimes just to be doing something out of boredom. She'd say "Come here, boy...bend down." Then she'd slap that big head of his. It would really sound off when he'd have his head shaved.
She didn't do that to me, because she said I had too much hair and wouldn't feel it, so she'd kick me in the butt. Hee hee! We sound soooo violent, don't we? We're not. It was all in total fun. She'd say things like "That child...." when talking about adults too, although she was only 54 herself.
My mom became an angel
in heaven, a year ago...March 30, and I miss her silly ways. Thankfully, I have memories like the ones I mentioned to make me smile.
