I thought I posted a reply to both under my hurricane post, but I don't see one. I did see one to Salina, but not answering what about the dog.
Salina. That was a sad story about that dog. I'm really glad it didn't happen to your family pet(s). I wonder what the airline does in a situation like that. How's your cousin, her husband and the baby? You haven't sent pictures. You know I love babies. I'm so glad to hear that your brother is back in the USA. Yaaay!
KatieG. Thanks so much for having me in your thoughts during the bad weather. I heard that the storm brought some heavy rain to your area too, with a lot of flooding. I hope things were fine for you. And, I haven't asked in a while.. How are your kittys doing?
BTW- I heard from my relatives and friends in Florida and Mississippi, and they're all fine. The friends in FL, were w/o power and water (had bottled/saved in tub) last weekend, but the house was safe. They said they'd try to stay put for a few days...if no better, they'd come here, after the roads were clear. The mother lives here anyway. She was visiting her daughter in Pensacola. They were really lucky,and/or blessed because she said one neighbor's livingroom roof was half gone, and another had a tree fall on her house.
