"I'm sorry, but, I have to respectfully disagree with you about "acceptable" alterations

Response to Observations on TV Land´s Hunter Marathon (MUST READ)
Wil, I'm sorry. But, if you think altering the music in ANY Hunter episode is acceptable, then they've got you right where they want you. Why should I spend my hard earned money on a DVD collection of Hunter episodes that aren't the original airings with NO alterations whatsoever??? I can just watch the TVland versions and tape them if that's the case. I'm SO glad that I still have my Hunter tapes with the episodes the way they originally aired, and NOT with edited GARBAGE music replacing the original music that set the mood for the episode, and, quite frankly, was MUCH better music then the CRAP they replaced it with. I'm sorry. But, if I owned the Hunter episodes, I would not let any corporate MORON tell ME I was going to have to change the music in the Hunter episodes before I aired them on TVland or released them on DVD. I would have more pride than that. No amount of money would make me change my mind. Shows like Hunter only come around once in a lifetime. To tamper with them in ANY way (other than adding deleted scenes to the episodes)would poison them forever. "
