oh, you didn't watch the tvland version of r and r yet? let me be the first to tell you of the really bizarre surprise ending... instead of shooting raoul, hunter brings raoul home to LA, gets him a custodial job at a local Arby's where raoul will spend the rest of his days cleaning BBQ sauce off the resataurant floor and scrubbing the bottom of the urinals in the men's room.
