Hiya, gang.
Just wanted to thank you all for the wonderful well wishes, cards and emails.
I didn't have a big party or anything, and my friend had to work, (Booo...hisss, to him!
) so my brother took me out for a really nice dinner and gave me a much needed gift...a cell phone. My old one was, well...old. Hee hee! He got tired of calling me and the voice messages not coming through until 2-4 days later.
Sheesh! I also got cards and gifts of money from family and friends. Money. Yeah, I like it! I like it!
After dinner we hooked up with one of his best friends and went to a bar/gameroom for a few rounds of pool. I don't have a clue as to what I was doing,
but I had fun.
Oh, and I got carded too! The waitress asked for my ID and I looked around to see who she was talking to. It was me! Me, me, me! Um, I think it's just the law that they card everyone. Even elderly people with all the signs of being at least 85 years old. So, I guess I'm not all that, afterall.
We intended to have others join us for dinner (at least) but there seemed to be a shortage of babysitters and a huge load or homework and class projects due in some cases, so...
Since it was the start of the week, I didn't expect too many to be able to go. Two friends will each take me to lunch later this week or the weekend.

Barb. I didn't think of the DVD's as a sorta-kinda personal gift from Hunter. Hee hee! Only you would think of such a thing. Silly!
Maybe you'll have a season released around your b'day this time around.
