I ddin't get to watch the ORIGINAL, but I caught reruns about 4 years ago. I don't know why I didn't see it first I should have - cause I really like the police shows, but there were quite a few and it was hard to catch them all, since I was in college in the 80's and then I worked nights 7pm-7am alot.
