But, I guess McCall should be sad about all she missed and Hunter should be sad that McCall's gettin married
again and
not to him
Having said that - I could have done with an entire epic or mini series to address all that has happened
The plot line - yeah - pretty contrived. I had such high hopes for the relationship to lighten up in the subsequent movies, but it really didn't happen. Hunter always seemed so distant. Even in that one where McCall got beaned w/ the wine bottle - his attitude in the hospital was a
major let down for me. And then she goes out w/ the freakin' FBI guy
And yeah - that hat was something else
Having said all that - I guess that's why I love good fanfiction so much. I have the visual of H&M and then I can put them in various situations and have 'em behave just the way I want
There were so many times that I want to rewrite a scene and just fix it. Some have done a good job - someone redid that scene from City of Passion when Hunter just says, "go to bed". Someone has written alternate versions of Streetwise and Hot Pursuit. I
love when that's done well.
