I agree that Molenski looked more like a cop than McCall because female cops aren't as glamorous on duty as she was. I'm not knocking female cops at all.
It's just that you don't see them in heels, skirts (or dresses) and full makeup like McCall. And this was while she wasn't undercover.
Man. Can you imagine being on stakeout for 12 hours dressed like that? So much to maintain. No wonder O'Hearn kept extra makeup and nail kits with her all the time.
Anyway, Molenski was a bit of a tomboy IMO. When I see her, I think more of what the female cops my brother works with look like while they're on duty. Now, during New Year's Eve, I saw one that looked more like McCall. The girl was dressed to impress. Off duty is when all the girlie stuff comes out.
Novak. Yeah, she was a bit stiff. And seems like she wasn't focused on her job. Was she worried about Allison or her ex-husband most of the time.
I can also agree that the true Hunter ended when SK left, but obviously the show was still there. A bit ignored, but still there. Hee hee!
