Well you have to sign a waiver because of course things like this are dangerous. However our situation was worst case scenario. About 30 boats went down the river this day and we were the only boat to lose someone or in this case two someones. They tell you what to do if you fall out but being told what to do and then remembering if it happens to you is another thing. They didn't tell us however what to do if we lost our guide. Apparently people fall out fairly often but not usually a guide. Anyhow yes you are warned that it is dangerous and no I don't think a person should be upset if they fall out because you know this is a possibility before you even go. It was a freaky situation but I am glad that I went. It was one hell of a ride.
