If this was really you Chris...I am sorry to hear about the Cancer stuff...that sucks. I hope you are ok. No one deserves that sort of pain and suffering.
Tony, Forrest and I never associated you directly with Joey, just so you that is clear. To completly seperate people. You never ripped us all off.
As far as comic relife, back then, you said and did things that were outrageous, why wouldnt we still get a kick out of them. I am not going to get into a quarell with you over stuff that happened 10 years ago but you must recognize how outlandish things you said and did were.
The band meeting in my garage is the best example possible. We are sitting in a circle and we are supposed to say what problems we think we have and how that affects the band. Tony says something about him not giving 100%, Forrest talks about his flakiness, Joey about how overpowering he can be, I say what a dick I am and how upset i get at over stupid things...and you...you say "well...I got a cool van and I drive us everywhere"...missing the point of the excersise completely...or maybe not...you really seemed to think you were flawless. That alone is funny as fuck!!!
And you know what you did directly to Me and Burning Dog. I'm not holding a grudge at all but it does show your charecter at the time and that none of us have ever said anything that was a lie or out of charecter for you. Everything we get a laugh at has been direct quotes or situations that we witnessed with our own eyes.
Hopefully your life and attitude have changed over the years, like all of us have changed and grown and recognized our past errors in reality and judgement. You were ridiculous...I was an asshole (and still am unfortunately sometimes...getting better) that is just how it was back then.
That dosent make you a bad guy tho. I think you were pretty decent overall. You were just as pissed off at Joey as I was over the Clash song bullshit he put us thru...we agreed on some things.
And dont think that you are the only one that has been made fun of here. Everyone has their day on this board....regardless if they are part of it or not. What else do you expect...we are all from Oxnard...A bucket full of crabs...you might struggle to get out but just as you see the light...one of the other crabs just pulls you back in.
