And how exactly is uni students missing classes suppose to frighten the government? It seems the only people who will be affected by this is the students.
I support a non-violent approach but don't you think a better approach would be for uni students to go out and try to raise public awareness on how this bill will affect us, instead of sitting around collecting names for a petition. Getting involved with other unions and planning a nationwide strike will certainly affect the government and greatly increase the pressure on them to remove the bill.
Don't you think this makes more sense than not going to class??
