The song Ciao He was written by Tony Oong Ching Xi for the movie "Wo Ai Sha Gua" starrting Zhang Kui and a new actress who starred subsequently with Tien Niu in Jian Jian Feng. Her name is if I remember correctly was Jiang Xin Yi. This song became an instant hit for Feng Fei Fei. In this movie there were 3 other songs: Duo Kan Yi Yen, Wo Ji Yao Kan Jian Ni and Jui. Great songs, worth collecting.
A movie which lin Feng Chiao starred in which is called Ciao He, I can't remember. I know there was a movie she starred in and the title song is called Ciao Yu (meeting by chance) and the first verse of the song has Ciao He in it. This movie was called Bi Hai Qing Tian or when it was shown in Singapore, it was called 1 min past nine. Also costarred Alan Tang. Great songs written by Oong Ching Xi and sang by Cui Tai Ching.
"Letter from a strange girl" - was based on a famous European novel. it starred Lin Feng Chiao and Li Hsiang. Story was about how Lin Feng Chiao fell in love, got pregnant then left the lover and then sent him this letter. The songs were great, written by Liu chia Chang and performed by Jiang Lei. There were 3 great songs: Yi Feng Xing, Na Li Qu Shuin Cao Wo De Ai, and Hua Xiang Liu Ren Jian.
Somehow the new generation singers after Feng Fei Fei, Jenny, You Ya, did not give such lasting impression to listeners. Some of them were easily forgettable.
