We have a 1983 Toyota Dolphin that runs great. The engine purrs.the engine is the 22r with carb.and 4 speed. We've been to eastern Canada to Key west and in between. When we bought it almost all of the appliances didn't work to one degree or another so I decided to gut it.it's had some leaks over the years and some of the panneling shows this. This model has the bathroom behind the drivers seat so I even took out the sink to make more room in the shower area.Allot more room to move around inside. What we do now is use the mounted 2 burner coleman stove to cook with and use a cooler.Since there's no plumbing I warm up a bucket of water and take a shower using a portable coleman battery pump. You can get by really well with this low budget rig.The holding tank is there for the shower and toilet. With the toilet all we do is rinse when we flush with a cleaning fluid. When we brush we just use cups like camping.I'm either going to keep it and remodel it or not because it runs excellent with 17 MPG or if I can find someone who's willing to take a trade with up to 3,000 cash for a newer rear bath model with automatic transmission I'd seriously seriously consider it.We are in the Pennsylvania Poconos.Happy Camping and thanks for reading this.
