I could very well see this happening, well atleast kitchener should be there. Wallaceburg might run outta gas with their short bench. Especially if they lose early.
Hamilton
Owen Sound
Orangeville 2
Mimico, they could potentially be there

does anyone know nepean beat most of those teams, they destoryed beaches and orangeville 2 not letting in a goal against either games and they beat k-w 7-3,, they have also beat hamilton
Posted on Jul 20, 2009, 9:56 AM from IP address 70.49.138.201
no, im sure most teams have gotten better,
just kitchener ha improved the most.
Look at the hamilton tourny for example.
They beat a team in the final 6 and they beat another team in A.

speaking as a player whos played Hamilton ... i dont believe they are a stronger team K.W is definately a better team .. who one provincials in b any1 no

They did beet Orangeville even... but in all fairnes they played a bad game and ended up winning that turniment over a Kanawhaki by a fair number who beat out Nepean

We've had enough about listening to how great the Wallaceburg midgets are. What good team have you beat, besides your amazing zone consisting of Windsor, Sun County, London, and Sarnia? You're a B team, you have no room to brag about anything.

Step up and play A ball this year. You sand bagged in Bantam to win your tainted B provincial 2 years ago. Seth is a great ball player but lets see how he handles 6 games against A clubs over a weekend.
Posted on May 15, 2009, 11:34 PM from IP address 99.255.62.144
take in to consideration the amount of players this team has that has won back to back B titles at the Bantam level.
take in to consideration this hasnt been the Seth Griffith show this year, he's played one midget game..sure he lit it up..but thats all he has played..he has played 2 junior games and hasnt produced points wise. I assume when he is ready to play again his numbers will fly.
so now you wonder how does wallaceburg win (dominate) games without seth griffith main answer..a TEAM wins a championship..so obviously the depth is there..solid goaltending..kid (kirbshow) can prolly be the best goalie in midget when his mind is in it.
However, for us to compete at the A level would be like the best of both worlds it would be awesome for wallaceburg because we havent had an A team in years however we're running with 12 runners as of right now- two are bantams, another is in his first year of ever playing lacrosse and a couple others arent as talented as the top crop, yes these players can and will be molded however most A teams can run 5 in and 5 out everyone can catch and pass everyone knows basic offense and defense because they were taught it for x amount of years. In wallaceburg this isnt the case.
Bottom line..a few kids cant carry your team in the A divison however im pretty sure wally two years ago in bantam wiped the floor with PTBO's A ballers than a few games later without seth they got blasted back.
This is a new season and I hope that we are in the A qualifiers because i think we would turn a lot of heads.

After your results this weekend. Now you may give us your excuses. Missing players, lousy refs. Now don't be mad at me you made the unstopable comment! I just want to know why you were.
Posted on May 31, 2009, 9:45 PM from IP address 99.255.62.144
are you kidding me? they were missing five of their best players, one which is arguably the best in canada and half the team was bantams and they were playing with three girls and still managed to tie whitby 1. give your head a shake
Posted on May 31, 2009, 10:09 PM from IP address 216.8.142.220
As stated above..we were miserably short handed this wknd. Missing from the Laker classic off the Wallaceburg club were- Seth Griffith (if you dont know who he is you dont follow lacrosse)Mike Myers who has been our faceoff man during the absence of Seth and is our top man on the Power. Maitland Long- second year midget..in my opinion prolly is the hardest worker on our team and maybe in ontario..the kid is an animal on defence and is probably our best leader. Nathan Carroll was also absent..our team carries 5 rightys and he is a top 3 on that side for us..he also plays the crease on our PP.
All that being said..we brought in some ladies from our girls midget team and some bantams that had their own tourney in Elora the next day. we tried pulling out of the tourney because of the numbers we had. however we still were able to manage to tie Whitby 1 (team Ontario I hope u were in attendance to see Jordan Durston this wknd to see what he can do and what u passed up on..i would put him in a one on one with any midget in canada and u passed him up) Myself I am one of the coaches of this team and Jordans brother i was absent this wknd as i was busy watching my cousin with an MMA belt in the 155 weight class- lacrosse fans might know the Name Jesse Gross.
however after hearing the success my club had being so short handed my goal is to come head huntin after all you A teams when were healthy...Be nervous whitbys, orangevilles, ptbos and nations...ur the ones being hunted.
If you would like to follow our team you can catch our stats on www.wallaceburggriffins.com

As much as you guys were disadvantaged, you guys might not be up to par this year.
Don't get me wrong; you guys have a talented squad. I am just saying, is one player enough? You guys might have a few good players, but some of the bigger teams have lots of players that are Team O caliber.
I play for Halton, and we won that tourney with 11 players on the bench!
Also, I noticed you forgot Halton in that list above We have a good squad this year, don't count us out.
Anyways, can't wait to play you guys at Qualifiers; you guys have a very promising squad, and I hope you guys all the best.

I was at the team O practice this weekend and i did forget to mention Halton..you guys are a top A team every year and i noticed you's have 3 er 4 guys off your team on team O that looked very good.
I'm not saying were gunna come in to A and dominate..but we want to compete with the best we know where we stand with the B teams..its time to move up to new challenges..if not than as a coach im not doing my job to get the best out of each player and develop them. hopefully my boys can hack it with all of the A teams.
And yes, we are in the Orangeville tourney we have mimicoe orillia orangeville and the beach maybe is the other team. lookin forward to competing with ya'll this wknd.
Also it is not one player that will carry our team. We have 6 guys that also play games with our junior team..and another (griffith) that I hope like hell will come to his senses and get his twig back in his hands to help lead our team.

wallaceburg after you guys gettin **** kicked this weekend are you guys still planning on going A?
Whats your excuse this weekend?
You had one for peterborough so you must have one now.
For a team who thinks they can compete with the haltons, orangevillles, six nations, you guys didnt show much of anything this weekend.
Whats everyones list for A teams this year?
Halton
Orangeville
six Nations
Akwesasne
Oakville
St. Kitts
Peterborough
Whitby
who will be the other 4 or 5?

i would say the bracket with arthur, shelburne, nations 2, and brockville being a much stronger bracket then the other one. fergus and milton out of the other bracket are also good when they are on their game. another team to look out for in bracket #1 is st. catherines 2.
Posted on Jul 23, 2008, 6:19 PM from IP address 70.51.79.150
Nations 2 is a very weak team 2 players that do it all for them Nations 3 is much better.I do see brockville winning there first game and it is true that the top bracket is much stronger but i see whitby and peterboro in the final
Posted on Jul 24, 2008, 4:58 PM from IP address 74.15.11.181
i know that the shelburne arthur game is gonna be a battle, but i think either of those teams could make their way back into the hunt even if they lose the first game. so i think the top 4 in that division would be arthur, shelburne, st. catherines 2, and cambridge/nations2. and in the other division i'd go fergus, milton, huntsville, and peterborough 2.

ur wrong it was 9-2 and like the rest of the hillbillies from furgus and arthur u hold back during season to get lower rating the u know u can win as uur not in proper class exspeially those crybabies from furgus

yes we did i would say clarington was defininately the toughest team we played even the first time we only blew away from them in the third but in the second game against them there goalie stoned us on every breakaway we had and we had around five maybe more but they were definiately a good team and they knew how to pass the ball around>

Yes Indeed congrats to Arthur on their Championship it was a fantastic semi game against the gales and you kept the momentem in the championship congrats on behalf of Nations 3

I personally think the best tilt i've seen this year SO FAR was between #29 from PTBO Lakers (Jacobs) vs. #13 from Halton Hills (Dance) in the Brampton Tourny. It was a lengthy scrap with lots of bombs thrown and was back and forth, with Jacobs coming out with the victory leaving dance with a shiner.
Lets hear some of your best you've seen so far..

EDGE DEVELOPMENT CAMP WEEK TWO COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT!!
Edge is excited to formally announce the addition of Toronto National,
Brett Queener, to the coaching staff for the Week Two of Edge's Toronto
Development Camps!!!
As we all know, Brett is one of the most dynamic and high energy goalies
involved in the Field Lacrosse game today and his positive and infectious
good nature is sure to bring a whole new level of fun to the camp for Week
Two.
This is a great opportunity for those Ontario Field Lacrosse Goalies to
get top notch, first rate goalie instruction from one of the best in the

He is joining forces with the other Edge Head Coach that week, the Toronto
Nationals TOP POINTS LEADER , Merrick Thomson in a one time only duo that
is guaranteed to not only teach you a lot but be a great time.
Stay tuned for another Edge Head Coach announcement over the following

When does a minor association have to declare what teams they are able to floor for league Rep play? Is there a minimum player/goalie requirement for a team to be made?

this guy is horrible there is no way he could play jr b next year let alone jr A ...no way this kid is getting drafted probably hardworking but just not good enough
Posted on Jul 29, 2008, 3:50 PM from IP address 99.249.67.121
Well if you would like a little hint on who will get drafted, you can always check the Team'O roster. Those players are already named the best in the province, so why wouldn't Jr.A coaches go after those kids first? Some of them are first years and will be drafted in the following years, but rest the sure those Team'O players will go early in the draft.

Yes this would be real fair if you are one of them , that team as stated in their policy may not bee made up of the best skilled players. THis puts your theory in a pile of doo as well as alot of great skill werent there for the $100 donation. Its time to stop putting these players only on the pedistal including this far fetched idea.

Christmas is every little childs favourite time of the year!
Fresh snow on the ground, a Christmas Parade, Santa
Claus, colourfully decorated floats, high school bands, the
warmth and caring of family and friends and a Zamboni!
The simple narrative in Monica And The Zamboni captures
the celebration of an incredible act of a father's love. This
true story turns a near tragedy into the real meaning of
Christmas Love and Sharing.
The story of three-year-old Monicas almost tragic fall
from a Christmas Parade float fuels her fathers love that
sparks the rebirth of a Zamboni that once cleared the way
for some of the countrys greatest hockey players!
In addition to smoothing the bumps and the snow on the
towns new outdoor, skating rink and energizing budding,
young athletes, the Zamboni also, proudly rolls along as a
float in the Christmas Parade!
Most rewarding is the Zambonis guest appearances at
local community fundraising events. But, as with all good
deeds, the time for the Zamboni to move on soon arrives and
off it goes to greener pastures in Australia, where it continues
to teach and delight children a continent away.
Alex Diochon's warm, distinctive illustrations opens up the
imagination to Monicas recovery and the Zambonis new
life.
The everyday cadence in Mark Healys Monica And The Zamboni,
reverberates with a poignancy that warms the hearts of the
young and old !!!
