Response to Follow the law
I didn't say our wantok has to come into the UK ilegally ! Existing Visa regulations between PNG and the British Government is such that citizens of both countries can enter the other country on a holiday/tourist visa qualifying for a period of 6 months.
And what I was trying to imply was that within this 6 months period, there was sufficient time for a professional Papua New Guinean to secure a job in the UK provided he/she has the right academic qualifications and experiences that falls within the 'shortage skills category'.
I do understand that this is an opportunity (or door) that has not been explored by many Papua New Guineans. But having said that I donot condone illegals in the UK and that includes Papua New Guinea citizens. As honest hard-working professionals from PNG, it is our morale duty to ensure that we do not encourage our fellow country man and women to break the Laws of the British Government. I think you have taken my posting out of context !
All I was trying to imply was for other Papua New Guineans like myself to take this opportunity and come over to the UK to apply for jobs here !
The Fijians, Australians and New Zealanders are doing it ! Why shouldn't Papua New Guineans do it. The similar Visa regime applies to PNG, Fiji, Australia and New Zealand ! !
Mangi PNG i wok long England nau LEGALLY ! !
