Wantok, Here's a short list of PNG problems that are destroying us back home:
1. Corruption to the point of governmental collapse at certain levels eg district officers never appearing for work etc., illegal entry through corruption of Asian workers, etc.
2. Becoming amongst the least developed of all countries with persisting high mortality rates, almost nonexistent education in the remote areas, and poor educatinon in the towns.
3. A wealth gap that is growing rapidly - Rich getting richer, while the poor getting poorer - this will create social upheaval in the not too distant future.
4. Foreign exploitation of PNG's natural resource wealth, leaving virtually no development in return while depleting the nonrenewable resources permanently.
5. Increase in tribal violence with a growing guns for spakbrus trade.
6. The AIDS-HIV epidemic, threatening to make PNG like another African country with entire lost generation.

These problems need every single Papua New Guinean's dedicated help. Everyone has talents to lend to solving these problems. If the problems aren't solved, they will destroy our country. Whatever technique or strategy you want to use to solve whatever problem you can attack, friend is up to you. You don't have to be a Ghandi all you have to have is love for your country that is bigger than your love for your pocketbook.
