      The independance celebrations are done to commemorate PNG's independance day. Let us not have high expectation. Apparently it was always going to be low key and speeches from so called 'distinguished guests' are nothing but mediocre and appalling. I have realised that there is never a proper 'thought process' put into those speeches over the years.

      However, full credit is due to those families who have put alot of effort and time into organising this celebrations to mark our independance.
