I don't consider myself the organiser of this fan gathering- I don't know enough about the area or the Park to do that. Basicly, I just created the board where everybody can make plans. So who wants to organise this?
HELLO OUT THERE...I JUST WANTED TO THANK EVERYONE FOR THE E MAILS AND PRAYERS AND SUPPORT THROUGH WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST HORRIFYING TIME OF MY LIFE...JUST OVER A MONTH AGO, I WAS WONDERING IF I WAS THROUGH BEING A SINGER. ONE SPECIALIST EVEN TALKED ABOUT CUTTING OUT A PIECE OF MY VOCAL CHORDS...I HAVE BEEN TO HELL AND BACK, BUT NOW IT SEEMS, OUR SHOWS ARE GETTING BACK ON TRACK...I'VE EVEN BEEN ABLE TO SING THESE EYES A COUPLE OF TIMES. I'M THANKFUL TO GOD THAT I'M HEALING, AND I CAN STILL USE ALL THE PRAYERS AND MENTAL PICTURES THAT ANY OF YOU ARE WILLING TO OFFER UP. THOUGHTS ARE THINGS. IF THE NEWS ABOUT MY THROAT HAD GONE THE OTHER WAY, THIS E MAIL WOULD BE ENTIRELY DIFFERENT RIGHT NOW, OR MIGHT NOT EVEN EXIST AT ALL...GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU...LUCK AND HEALTH...LUXTON

Hi Luxton, glad you are feeling better.
I hope to see you in Peterborough later on.
I'm glad things have turned around for you.
We are a "lucky" group of people to have this wonderful
band to cheer again.
Thanks for all the wonderful shows.
Luck and Health to you.

My main inspiration, my idol, the reason I wanted to become a singer in the first place...may health be the last of your worries. As someone who also has gone through some scary health troubles, all I can say is, keep on keeping on. The fact you still sound great after all you've been through must be the greatest reward of all.
You've already accomplished so much the past three years. Thanks so much for sharing with your fans again.

Hi Luxton - Good news, Indeed! What a frightening experience that must have been for you. We can never take our health for granted. It is good to hear that you are doing so well and I will keep you in my prayers for continue good health and success.
I saw the band in Cleveland in May...what a great show everyone put on there. You guys still kick it! Thank you so much for ALL the years of fabulous music and for touching me with your music in a way that no one else has.
Continued luck and good health to you and the band. May you walk with the good Spirits always. Dottie
I can't think of anything better to pray for than the full and safe healing of your voice. If God is listening, it must be to that beautiful instrument.
Bless you-
Vickie

Burton,
Glad to hear that you are on the road to recovery. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I was lucky enough to be at the opening show in Toledo my home town, it's funny when I was 12 years old my Mom took me to see the band and this past May I took her to see the band, (she's 70 years old now) Anyways, Keep recovering it takes time, you have alot of Fans that post on these boards that Love you and only wish the best for you.
My best always to you.... Debbie
I'm so glad that you are feeling better. I was so worried about you. You have been my favourite rock singer/songwriter/musician since I was really young. I'm going to the show in Darien Lake and I hope to see you guys there.
You'd better look over your shoulder because I am learning to play the keyboard and I'm so good that I'll be taking your place soon. Yeah, right! I'm about as good as you were when you were three. LOL
Please, please take good care of yourself. My thoughts and prayers are with you all the time.
I'd also like to throw in my best wishes. Glad to know you are back singing with the guys again. Hope you can come back to the southeast US again. How's the songwriting going? Mike in Atlanta

Hi Burton!
So glad to hear that you're feeling better! Think positive, and don't overdue it with that wonderful voice of yours, take it easy, if you can and when you can. I will continue with my prayers for you. The Lord had been good to me so far, and I hope I can pass it on to you.
I too, had a throat scare last year, and frankly, it scared the SHIT out of me. I'm much better now, and I hope it stays that way.
I really enjoyed your show in Philly last September...
please come back soon...

To your health

As a national treasure to at least three major nations, you need to take good care of yourself and those golden pipes. As long as it takes. We'll be glad to wait, 'cause you are very important to us all. Walk with the good spirits.
...and now that you are in the midst of changing diet and all, you will be fine and fit in no time at all...enjoy the rest you've got coming....hope you can make Saratoga, already missed the band in Vegas....if I miss Saratoga I may just go insane and start listening to Yoko Ono at 78rpm....oh my new turntable won't play 78s...but it does play 45s and some Sand Storm or Beatnik Fly might sound good about now....take care ...be well
