October 10,2004.Drove down from Massachusetts the day before to see some of Amish country and check out Philadelphia.I noticed on the map how close Delaware's highpoint was and after talking (begging)the wife we decided to find the highpoint before heading to the city.Using Don Holmes and the Wingers guidebooks we easily found the highpoint on a beautiful Sunday morning. We parked on the corner of a quiet residential neighborhood, found the sign, took pictures and headed to Philly.Had a good time there seeing the sights but on the way home I asked the wife (who was not into highpointing) what the highlight of the trip for her had been and she said Philadelphia was nice but she really enjoyed finding that Delaware highpoint.I think another highpointer has been brought into the fold.Highpoint #11 for me and #4 for Carla.
