Some miserable bitch has deleted my message on the Engineers’ board and a reply thereto from Steff. Pantsophiles will appreciate the reference to underwear. I am pleased to see that Steff is at last attempting to find more congenial employment.

British Gas are now recruiting Trainee Service Engineers. We will consider applicants who posses 4GCSE's. Preference will be givern to candidates who have additional relevant engineering experience, qualifications and/or can demonstrate practical experience in customer facing roles. You will be aged between 17-23, preferably holding a full UK driving licence, with excellent communication skills and bundles of enthusiasm. You must be self reliant, and able to demonstrate pride and effort in anything you undertake.
Females are currently under represented among our Engineering workforce, a trend we are seeking to rebalance. If you are interested in applying you can call our recruitment hotline for an application pack on:
0800 801 161
Benefits include a starting salary of app. £11,600 progressing to £22k to £28k once qualified. You receive a vehicle, tools, uniform, mobile and can benefit from a Company pension scheme and share options.
You will train as either a Service Engineer, carrying out rapid turnaround jobs such as annual servicing of customers central heating systems or fault diagnosis, or as an Installation Engineer working on longer duration projects, seeing the central heating installation process through from start to finish. Either way, you will be field based, largely organising your own day, needing you to be self-motivated and able to think on your feet, presenting the company's world class image at all times.

Dear, dear Dave,
This job sounds really super indeed. I'm tired of my current job, as my supervisors are all right BASTARDS. Would your company consider hiring a 35-year-old with an MPhil, excellent written communication skills, agoraphobic tendencies, and an annoying smirk when speaking to intellectual inferiors? If so, would you please respond at
