What makes some writers here so mean and rotten?
Well bugger me! I’ve quite forgotten.

Some of our contributors were beaten mercilessly when they were at school. Corporal punishment is likely to have had a profound effect upon them. They are not to blame for being mean and rotten.

There are also contributors who received mild corporal punishment at school. They have every right to be mean and rotten for they may suffer confusion over, on the one hand, resenting the light smacks they were given, while on the other, wishing that they had suffered some serious caning.

Those that were not chastised at school may well wish they had have been and they too are justified in being mean and rotten.

The meanness and rottenness of many contributors has rendered them unable to form loving relationships with people. They have become untrusting, inward-looking individuals who have attached themselves emotionally (and sometimes physically) to inanimate objects or animals. For these unfortunate people this forum is a sanctuary, a place where they can be mean and rotten and accepted.

To those who condemn the rotten and mean,
I say, “Let tolerance reign supreme!”

Spanking sites on the web seem to attract the mean and rotten. People who have an interest in a forbidden subject would, you think, be grateful to have found those who are like-minded, and therefore would be nice to each other. Every c.p. site I visit has people bitching at each other. Spanking Memories which used to be ok is like a battlefield at the moment. I’ve had enough.

Death to the mean and rotten (if they're American)!

British Spanking is the only site I have found where people are civilsed to each other, so try on there, the peolpe on here are really rude and usually very unfriendly if you can't add bits of grench or latin in your posts and, well basicly if you haven't had a public school background forget it.

No grench

I agree that people on here are ‘really rude’ but it’s not their fault that they had the gift of a public school education.

The rudest is Darwinian Man, but even he does not add ‘bits of grench’ to his messages.

Hugs and fuggs,

Les Gens Amicals

Here’s a list of contributors that I consider to be among the friendliest people on the Internet:

Simon; Dot; Proud Member; Karen; Squirrel; Peter; Debbie; Melvin; Fran; Steffosama; Robin (not Peverett); C. Nickel; Gillian, Ron and me.

Not one of us has inserted any bits of grench into our posts.

The above message from Ron surely proves that he is well worthy of inclusion in Roger’s Friendly List.

Clique members will recognise ‘grench’ as being yet another word from Forest of Dean dialect. It occurs in a song notated by R.V.W. in 1919:

As I walked out one morning
I met a pretty wench.
I said, “Be not a-feared, my dear,
I’m only here for bits of grench.”

You are all very lucky to have had public school backgrounds, no doubt it has helped you all to towel flick your way through life. However the rest of us oik's don't know two words of Grench so don't lord it over us.

Bishopric,

Your plight is noted.

I'm sure one of our Grench speakers will be happy to furnish you with two words.

An oversight on the part of Roger means that I was not included on his Friendly List. I therefore add myself thereto.

Send me a message to see just how friendly I can be.
