At 9am the following day Jane was sat at a desk in the schoolroom of Primly Hall. She was wearing a white blouse, school tie, navy-blue knee length skirt (with matching knickers underneath), white ankle socks and black low-heeled shoes. Miss Primly was wearing an academic gown over a beige suit. On her teacher’s desk lay a three feet long cane.

Session one was a History test. Miss Primly had already informed Jane that there would be twelve questions to which she was to give written answers. For each wrong answer Jane would receive one stroke of the cane on her bare bottom.

Jane was struck with indecision. “I do so want to be caned,” she thought, “but will I be able to take twelve strokes? Also, I don’t want Miss Primly to think I am stupid by getting all the answers wrong.” She decided to compromise and aimed to answer six questions correctly.

The first six questions were about the Corn Laws, and Jane, who had passed ‘A’ level History while at boarding school, found them easy and wrote the right answers. The next six were on the subject of the Industrial Revolution. Following her plan to subject herself to just six strokes of the cane, Jane deliberately made mistakes. She then handed her completed paper to Miss Primly who looked displeased.

“You are a stupid girl, Robson!” snapped Miss Primly. “What are you?”

“A stupid girl, Miss Primly.”

“And what happens to stupid girls in this school?”

“They get the cane, Miss Primly.”

“That’s right, so stand up and come to the front of your desk. Bend over and rest your hands on the seat of your chair.”

Jane obeyed immediately and, after checking that the girl was properly in position, Miss Primly raised Jane’s skirt to her waist and pulled her navy-blue knickers down to her knees.

Jane took the first three strokes in silence, but screamed loudly on the fourth.

“Silence, girl!” said Miss Primly. “I will not tolerate any unseemly behaviour in my classroom.”

After a ten second pause she gave the final two strokes in quick succession and Jane screamed again. She could not decide if it was with agony or ecstasy.

I am glad that Jane was well informed about the Corn Laws. Few people know that they were designed to restrict the import of American jokes into this country.

Death to American jokes!

I have tried very hard to write a story that members would enjoy, but all I get is nasty and sarcastic comments.

I won’t be posting here again!
