I found this and found it quite interesting, wish I'd been in Cambridge that day.

Did anyone here about this, or take advantage of the offer?

I have an update on this story!

Again from The Cambridge Evening News under the headline Comic Relief's Red
Nose Day cuts a dash in the region

"Staff at Premier Travel in Drummer Street, Cambridge, will be dressing up
as St Trinians schoolgirls today.

For a £1 donation to Comic Relief customers can have their bottom spanked,
while for £5 they can spank one of the girls."

Now that wasn't mentioned before!

No, everybody on this board is much too smart to have anything to do with that cold and windy place.

Yes everybody knows Cambridge is an absolute dump, but I would love to know how this charity event worked.

could you put the girls over your knee, could you spank their bare bums etc.

was it monitered, how hard could you spank them how many times etc.

I just can't imagine being able to do that to an otherwise ordanery Travel agent secretery, just because she happens to be wearing a school uniform, have her hair in bunches etc. for £5

It's not like these women were spanking models or anything.

Someone here must have witness a chirity even like this? who could give us some answers?

I wonder if like the event got more saucy as the night went on like the TV comic relief event does, when everyone has had a few drinks?

Further to the message of the encyclopaedic squirrel:

The majority of our contributors are from London, the Home Counties and Sussex. One prolific writer has the misfortune to live in Birmingham. Former contributor, exhausted Headmaster George, (also known in Camberwell and Worthing as ‘Georn’) lives by a lake. As Ambassador of the North we are delighted to have dear, dear Ron. 88% of the posts from Sussex are sent from Bexhill-on-Sea.

I wonder if the girls will be repeating their offer of a spanking their bums for £5 this comming children in need day?

If so I'm heading for Cambridge with a bloody big size 13 slipper, and a lot of five pound notes!

Surely some of our members made the trip. Anyone have any details? Did this really happen?Or was it hype to get people to attend?

As squirrel wrote on 27 May, it is indeed a ‘cold and windy place’. Buried deep in what is known as ‘Fen Country’, the journey thereto is not a pleasant one for us Southerners.

How I wish the event could take place in Bexhill-on-Sea! It might even bring Christine out of hibernation.
