Powerful Advertising

Sponsors of this forum have begun to advertise their goods and services on what they consider to be relevant topics. Examples are:

Garden hosepipes – ‘Hosepipe’
Accommodation in Sussex – ‘Sussex Spanker in Court’
Mother Goose videotapes – ‘SCP contributor in lesbian nursery rhyme scandal!’
Bibles – ‘Missionary Statement of Position’
Homosexualist holidays – ‘Lesbianation’

Can we hope that Harrods will be advertising on ‘Fuggin’ Good News from S.W.1’?

The advertisers certainly know their readers. Boy Scout uniforms are advertised on ‘6th. Hove scouts’. The makers of Vaseline may wish to promote their product on the same thread.

I'm surprised we haven't yet heard from messrs Railtrack, or whatever they are called now, on the availability of fast and frequent electric trains between Peckham and Worthing.

Recently certain words that appear in contributions to the forum have been highlighted by Network54 and are links to advertisements.

I wonder which of the following words will be used in this way?

Knickers, bums, Wembley, punishment.

If the software is intelligent enough to recognise groups of words, it will undoubtedly link the above posting to: http://www.porkpie.co.uk/

I’ll try another group of completely unrelated words:

Basildon, slimming, club, sign, up
