School CP: For or Against?

Having read Miles` thread about CP in schools at the brighton forum, there`s a few issues raised there I`d like to pick up on.
In any debate like that where the participants have no, shall we say, interest as such in CP, as most of us do here, there`s always this either-or sort of argument amongst the ones who say "If you`re nice to everyone everthing will be ok," and the others who say "Flog the lot of them" sort of thing.
Well my view is you need a bit of both in schools.
I agree that children should be communicated with, spoken to nicely, and respected where possible.
But some children will push boundaries and take full advantage of peoples` kindness.
So I say, yes, CP has its place in schools as a last resort, a senior male teacher punishes the boys and a senior female teacher the girls, no bare bottoms, and fully reported in a punishment log book.
Also I don`t agree with those who say it`s all Margaret Thatcher`s fault for badly behaved kids today.
The materialistic society would`ve happened whoever was PM in Britain in the 1980s - mobile phones, trainers and designer tops would still have been invented.
The one thing I would perhaps blame Mrs T for is that her Government presided over a ban on CP in state schools in 1986, even though it was a free vote and as a result of a ruling from the European Court of Human Rights.

I, too, have read the topic on the Brighton & Hove Forum started by that filthy beast Miles. What a pity that none of the respondents thereto are his intellectual equal.

I am totally against practice of corporal punishment and sodomy in schools. Those that wish to indulge in these and other sexual deviations, as do many of the kinky teachers who contribute to our Happy Circle, should wait until their pupils have left school. As Ron’s former leader put it, “What about 4.30?”

The teachers at Copland School had the right idea. Give the girls six of the best across their green-knickered bums (bending over, touching toes) the whacks being so loud that they echo round the room.

I have no ideas whatsoever regarding the punishment of boys. We need a man like squirrel for that.

Dear, dear Gillian,

What memories you awaken! He was prepared to wait until 5.00 or later, if necessary. What a man...

Hugs and fuggs,

Ron

Gillian I was hoping for some sort of sensible debate here instead of you using highly emotive terms and somehow linking school CP with sodomy.
Do you also think that a parent who sits their child on their lap is guilty of incest? or a teacher who comforts a child when they fall over and hurt themselves a paedophile?
Don`t be ridiculous Gillian, keep it sensible.

Nothing that Gillian writes is ‘sensible’. She has brought this wonderful forum down, down, down.

In Sussex she is known as ‘The Devil’s Dyke’.

Those unfortunate pupils who were members of Faraday House at William Penn would have no difficulty in linking school corporal punishment with sodomy, but otherwise Paul is right.

Be sensible, Dyke Bitch!

some activities should be dealt with a little more severely. If SCP were an option at this school I don't think the police would have been called. Now these children will have a juvenile arrest record.

Seven Arrested in School Cafeteria Food Fight

WATERBURY, Conn. (June 11) - A food fight that started with fruit cup turned into a mealtime melee, serving up a full plate of arrests and injuries.

Seven seventh-graders were arrested after a spat in a middle school cafeteria left two teachers and a detective with injuries Wednesday.

The incident began at West Side Middle School after a girl dumped a fruit cup over a boy's head, police said. The two started fighting, then other students joined in, some jumping on tables and throwing food, police said.

"What was described as a riot situation developed in the cafeteria," Sgt. Christopher Corbett said.

A detective and two teachers suffered minor injuries breaking up the melee.

Three girls and fours boys ranging in age from 12 to 14 were arrested on charges including breach of peace, assault and inciting a riot. All seven were released to their parents after promising to appear in juvenile court.
