Can anybody tell me why a headmistress usually caned a girl student/offender on the buttocks without clothing on.?Is it because she wants the student to get the worst pain.?Or is she wants to see the cane marks.?Does she know that caning without clothing will break the skin & cause infection.?Or what else.....????I was caned with skirt & pantyhose on & yet it is quite painful,so can anybody give some comments.?

We have come across only one genuine account of a girl being caned at the bare bottom at school.

This is related in a book by Noele Arden and is entitled, ‘Child of a System’. She was a pupil in the 1920’s at a residential school from which she and another girl absconded. They were taken back to the school and in assembly were stripped to their vests and knickers. They were then made to bend over a chair and had their knickers pulled down to receive six strokes of the cane.

I believe that our only contributor who claimed to have caned bare bottoms at school was retired, exhausted, fake Headmaster George.

I think it is a charming idea that Veron and Winston should share an e-mail address. They are obviously very close to each other.

While the arguement is that corporal punishment is done on the bare bottom in order to maximize discomfort, the real reason, conscious or uncoscious, is to humiliate the recipient.

Some who favour this method believe that this humiliation can occur within "Reasonable Limits" by only pulling pants down in back leaving the genitals covered, while others believe that the pants and undergarment should go to the floor.

My stepmother had me to strip completely, bend over and grab my ankles.

In my opinion, when the pants are all the way down and the recipient is holding the ankles, this is done because the natural reaction is to cover one's reproductive bits, holding the ankles forces the recipient to leave the privates exposed.

In the case of boys entering young adulthood, this is inexcusable. Not only is this a sexual violation, it can cause subconcious sexual pleasure, both from stimulating the sciatic nerve, and from the penis jiggling with each blow.

I went to a all girls school and the cane was never given on the bare bottom and that was in the60s, anyway the cane was only given very rare as the slipper was used the most but never on the bare bottom.

Bare butt punishments are used for 2 reasons. First is pain...there is NOTHING as intense as the sting you get on bare skin. Second and most important is humiliation, considered to be even worse punishment than the pain. Senior boys over 18 at my school were paddled nude. Our senior disciplinarian was a petite younger woman, who took punishment seriously, and made her punishments tougher with a healthy dose of humiliation. The nude paddlings were witnessed by teachers and staff to make them more humiliating. There were 5 witnesses to watch me get 10 blistering swats, and it made it QUITE a bit worse!
