I have access to a number of magazine articles on the ‘Profumo Affair’ which I will post here.
They are not particularly well written, but are good enough for you lot.

Thank you, men.
More feedback is unnecessary. It is enough to know that the pieces are bringing into your lives a little ray of sunshine.
I feel very sorry for Valerie Hobson, wife of the bastard Profumo. She was a very talented actress and had an illustrious career before she married him. You may not have seen ‘Kind Hearts and Coronets’, which gave her one of her best roles, so I shall be sending you a videotape of the film for Christmas.

Next Monday, 2 February, is Christine’s birthday and Bexhill-on-Sea will be in festive mood. I am advising our members now so that they may have time to construct suitable greetings to send on the big day. |

Happy Birthday Darlin by Conway Twitty
Hello Darlin’
Happy Birthday
I’ve decided not to give you a present this year
In fact I think it’s about time I took some things away
I’d like to take away the suspicion that I know clouds your world at times
By giving you some faith to hold on to, honey whenever your hand is not in mine
Happy birthday, darlin’
I’ve no presents, no fancy cake
But I hope you’ll be happy with everything I take
I’d like to take away some of your lonely moments by spending some of mine with you
And I’d like to take away some of those so-so kisses and replace them with ones that really say I love you
And I wanna take away the doubt you have sometimes about my love
By showing it more, much more, than I’ve shown it lately
Then if someone should ask you what I got you for your birthday
Well you can say he didn’t give me anything but he sure took a lot of things away
