Students Suspended

Twenty-eight students have been suspended from a La Joya Middle School. Administrators say action was taken on a group of girls because they were spanking each other. The suspension has upset many parents. One woman says her daughter was just playing around with friends, and doesn't feel they should be punished. Students served a one day suspension.

This is a tricky one to deal with. They were not allowed to got to school for a day because they spanked each other. If they had missed school for a day, without a good excuse, they should be spanked?

1. A Middle School is not a College.It is 7th,8th,and 9th grades,sometimes 6th.Ages 11 to 14.

2. La Joya is in California, not Texas.

At first I thought this was an attempt at humour,but since it lacked any ,I thought I should point out what must be an honest mistake.

My Bad. That La Joya is in Texas. The most beautiful part of Texas.
