The Head's Duty
For smoking in school to the head she is sent,
And over the head's desk poor Katie is bent,
Though it brings to the head feelings of great pain,
She must from the cupboard take out her school cane,
For at the beginning of the year,
To the girls it was made clear,
That pupils who smoke
Will get six strokes,
It is the head's duty, it must be done,
So up with Katie's skirt and out with her bum,
The head with her cane lays six sound singers
Over the seat of Katie's regulation knickers,
As she administers each stroke,
It is the head's great hope,
That this will encourage Katie never again to smoke,
Her bottom hot and sore after this swishing,
That she had not smoked Katie is now wishing,
Caning girls who are bad
Makes the head very sad,
Bur for discipline to be maintained
Girls who break the rules must be caned.
