Did anyone else get spanked at Sunday School? I did. One minute I was singing ‘Oh come to my heart Lord Jesus, there is room in my heart for thee’ and the next minute I was over Miss Foster’s knee for singing flat and she also spanked Rosemary for not singing loudly enough about Jesus. I told my parents and they said ‘You’re not going there again’ and now I am an atheist.

I,attended a sunday school in south london atthe age of 13. this was in the mid sixties.Part of the class was taken up with bible study,and discussion.I enjoyed this part of the class,which was taken by a pretty young school teacher.she kept discipline by using a size 8 slipper. this was used mostly to impress several young girls.whom she tapped lightly with it.I was caught out for it when in my third week i joined in with two girls who were messing around. they were given their customary two taps.I however was given three of the best.they stung like hell.I continued to attend,for the next few months.somehow Imanaged to be slippered,six more times. until our teacher left,and I stopped going

Why did a big boy of thirteen go to Sunday School?

Dear Tracey; People of all ages attend Sunday School. Anyone who misbehaves in Sunday School deserves to be spanked. I'm sure Big Ray's old mum would agree.

hello,tracey.The reason i was attending sunday school was because I had heard about this particular teacher.So I joined to find out about her my self.I used to enjoy getting into minor scrapes at school.Iwas usualy able to get away with acouple of whacks with the slipper. which I enjoyed having.

I must agree with Mr. Davies that such things did go on in some Sunday School's The one I attended from 8 till 12, The boys and girls age 8 and 9 who were naughty was put over the "teachers" lap and spanked, the girls were spanked lightly and the boys were spanked firmly.

From the age 10 to 12 wre told to bend over for the slipper which was rubber soled gym shoe, again the girls got "taps" while the boys got stingers, Like Mr. Davies but my age was 11 then I was given 3 of the best which stung that much my eyes were damp'ish while the girls whe were slippered with me were given three taps and looked happy to see me nearly in tears.

When I complained to my father he said bend over son and slippered me with three for complaining.

Do you think it was that you were a boy of 13 that the female teacher gave you 3 of the best with the slipper, she might have guessed the three sharp whacks on you at 13 might not have caused too many problems, When she slippered you again how many whacks did she give and was it the best?, did she manage to make your eyes water?

The teacher who gave me three of the best looked very pleased I was nearly in tears. but of course the plimsoll would hurt more on a boy of 11 than 13 depending on how hard it was done

yes,after my second dose of the slipper I was given an extra stroke.It was always the best.On one occasion she made me cry.I continued to attend class,but behaved for a week before I got caught again. as I have said there were several younger girls who deliberatly misbehaved.I often got caught with them.
