Idea! March 5 2004 at 1:49 PM Paul
I’m currently thinking about the possibility of organising an SF&R CP get-together, probably in London. Some early ideas include some realistically played-out school CP scenarios with a really authentic and informative flavour of the 1970s English school - and I`ve a few fabulous ladies in mind to get back into their school uniforms to feel the slipper, cane and strap. There would also be some fabulous movie spanking and factual research video CD`s available there. The fees will be between £75 - £100, which covers the cost of the ladies, refreshments and other overheads. So if this sounds of any interest, and you can get to a location in London please let me know and this idea will turn from a thought to a reality.

No, it’s not a Munch! It’s just a desperate attempt to make a few quid on the side. To find out what a Munch really is, listen to Cole Porter’s 1934 song ‘Miss Otis Regrets She’s Unable to Munch Today’. |

Sussex University students are currently looking for sponsors for their
production of Shakespeare's "Munch Ado About Nothing" which is being
performed at the beginning of May as part of the Brighton Festival Fringe.
The profits for the production will go to the Rockinghorse Appeal which
supports the Royal Alexandra Hospital for Sick Children.
The show is being performed at the Old Market Theatre over 3 nights to a
potential audience of over 200 people/night. Featuring a live jazz band, the
show promises an enjoyable night out and great performances from a talented
cast.
Sponsors would of course get advertising space in the program. If you are
interested in sponsoring the production or would be able to donate prizes
for fundraising purposes we would be glad to hear from you.

I had hoped to munch with Miles and Karen on 8 April, but when I asked my secretary to get me a reservation on the Virgin Express she told me that I was already double booked in Wigan and South Hampshire.
Perhaps munchers could let me know when they will be at it again in Hove.

The next Munch at Hove Lagoon will be on Thursday 8 April at 14.00
A meet and greet service is in operation. Please note we operate a zero tolerance policy on nuisances to protect our guests.
A munch is a meeting of like-minded people in a vanilla environment. The idea of a munch is that people of all orientations and all levels of experience can meet in a safe environment to have a drink, socialise and make contacts. There is no playing at a munch and absolutely everyone is welcome except nuisances.

It’s all very well having a meet and greet service in operation, but do you have a zero tolerance policy towards nuisances?

There are no nuisances in Hove except for thousands of little tiny dogs and they are banned from the Lagoon on Munch Days.

A zero tolerance policy towards nuisances is essential. Here are just some of the nuisances you are likely to encounter in Hove:
Miles Harvey; Paul McCartney and wife; Julie Burchill; Nick Berry; Fat Boy Somebody and Zoë Whatsit; Big Frank from ‘The Bill’ and Eubank.

Another is the rather less than eminent Judge Scott-Gore. I appeared before him in Hove Crown Court in 1996 accused of the heinous crime of sending ‘indecent’ material through the post in the course of my work. The material in question being several issues of Janus magazine. In his summing-up prior to handing down a swingeing £7,400 fine he stated: “We have a duty to stamp out all of this spanking.”
I do not envy you Munchers if he happens to be tucking into a bacon butty at the Hove Lagoon.
