Curious...I did a search for SCHOOL CANE and found a few if anyone wants to relive ther ill-spent youth.

Sometimes I have nothing better to do....

Out of curiosity - what prices are they going for? Specialist retailers for them that I've seen want excessive prices in my opinion.

Hi,
I think I am the one who has been putting up the canes you refer to for £1.99. these canes are the real thing and are thin and swishy. Not many left now and the last ones to go are the thick ones.

Coming up soon on Ebay:
Authentic gymslips.
Mens schoolboy short trousers.
Punishment dresses.

Have fun.

If the vendor will take a leaf from our own dear Deep Pan's marketing strategy, he'll select one of his canes and say it was used to cane Emma 'Baby Spice' Bunton in the early 1970's.

Punters will be falling over themselves to pay almost any price for what is surely the inspiration for the lyric 'ziz-a-zig-aaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!'

Of course, some troublemaker will no doubt point out that Emma wasn't even alive in the early 1970's but you have to expect that sort of thing from people who have nothing better to do.

School Canes On Ebay.......

HI,
Actually these canes are unused, but date from the late seventies. They were suppled by "the Bognor Cane Co.", Bognor Regis, who at that time were the main supplier of canes to schools. Perhaps the only supplier.

My favorites are a 28" and a 30", which are from the thirties and I might add, have been used by myself on schoolgirl palms.

So far, I have sold quite a few on Ebay. I had a box of 50 or so, but they are fast running out and replacements are hard to find.

Coming up soon on Ebay, 2 nice leather tawse, one 3 tail and 1 two tail (made by Thomas Wilson of Dalkeith) and a Martinet.

Look me up on Ebay under "Dressmaker51". I will be putting up another cane at the week end.

Regards,
Vichkiee

Actually...Lotta Nonsense has given me an idea...

Dont you know an obliging 18yo sixth former willing to take the lightest tap on the bum? Then you could advertise them as having been used. Got to be worth 50 quid a piece then! LOL

Readers whose interests extend to capital punishment may be interested in an item I have for sale.

It is the very axe that beheaded Mary Queen of Scots!

Needless to say, the implement has been subject to a certain amount of refurbishment over the years - two new heads and a new handle, to be precise - but I believe it represents excellent value at only £5000.

First come, first served.

If the girl depicted in the Dressmaker51 ads is the person selling the implements and writing to this forum, I'm a giraffe.

The seller is almost certainly not a woman but a female persona does wonders for anyone trading in CP paraphernalia.

Never mind the implements - most male afficionados would pay £20 just to get her email address!
