The owners of some Guest Books approve comments before they appear on the site. To such as these I do not bother to contribute. The owner of the following takes a liberal approach.

I had a break for luncheon - a lump of ferret pate washed down with a gallon of paraffin - and now I’m back signing Guest Books as if there were no tomorrow.

It’s raining on the Bromford, so I cannot go out.

I didn’t realise that my contribution to the Guest Book would have to be approved, otherwise I would not have sent it. This, however, is a wonderful, wonderful site.

The chap who runs this site is a Chinese Optical Switch. This is all very well, but I wish he would configure his Guest Book to accept apostrophes.

Comments: My business is in terminal decline. I used to sell a load of canes in Burgess Hill but since Thatcher stopped the use thereof in our schools the LEAs are not buying quite so many. A few pervy people here still buy from me, but most of them are moving to East Grinstead.

School Corporal Punishment

December 30 2004, 5:25 PM

Am I missing something here, or we just completely off thread? I can't see what any of this has to do with the title. I know it's Christmastime, and everyone's a bit groggy, so maybe this rubbish came on this site by accident, but frankly it deserves to be somewhere else.
One other thought occurs to me having looked at some of the other posts - is this is semi-private site operated by people who know each other?

It’s mighty good to have you with us on the ‘Guest Book’ thread of this semi-private forum, Curious. Many of us do know many others of us and many times have we met at Hove Lagoon and you are cordially invited to our next meeting. Here is a very special song for you to sing.

Getting to know you,
Getting to know all about you.
Getting to like you,
Getting to hope you like me.

Getting to know you,
Putting it my way but nicely.
You are precisely,
My cup of tea.

Getting to know you,
Getting to feel free and easy.
When I am with you,
Getting to know what to say.

Haven't you noticed,
Suddenly I'm bright and breezy,
Because of all the beautiful and new
Things I'm learning about you
Day by day.

John, I think your attempt at humor went over her head.
Maybe if you had provided a link to this thread, she would have blogged about her own SCP experience. She DOES live in Texas after all.

Re: Not My Kind-a Guestbook

She’s now trying to tell me that she is a Texan and not a Texican! She obviously knows nothing about one of the greatest events in Texican history when Davy Crockett wearing a fetish hat and Jim Bowie and Colonel William 'Texican' Travis went down, but not on each other, for a load of Texicans.

Watch the film you stupid cow and listen to the Duke when he says:

“Texican - I like the sound of the word. It’s the kind-a word that makes a man wanna contribute to every guest book this side of El Paso and East Grinstead.

Well, what can you expect from a heifer who goes around
barefoot, hates classical music, and reads Mary Higgins-Clark. However, I did know they are touchy about being called Texicans. Also, I saw the blog entry before my first reply.
