It was a very interesting programme. There were a few flashes of green knickers and mention of public canings at Aspull Secondary Modern School.

Aspull (and in fact Blackrod which was also mentioned) are in fact near to Wigan.

I wonder if we happen to know anyone who went to those schools who may once have lived in Wigan?
