Was a Muncher

I once went to a munch organised by one of the prostitutes who used to advertise here. One woman announced that she was a ‘brat’ and got up and sang, ‘It’s My Party and I’ll Pout if I Want To’. It was not pretty and has put me off munching and pouting.

This forum is so much better without the prostitution adverts. All that “zero tolerance” and “meet and greet” stuff really used to get on my hampton.

ads

At the moment the ad I'm getting reads "Let our psychic readers help you find your soulmate", for chrissake. I preferred it when we had ads for trains to Worthing.

I am delighted to be able to inform the gorgeous pouting squirrel that the title of this thread has been changed from ‘Pouting’ to ‘Pouting on Trains to Worthing’. I trust the advertisers will replace their current material with some information about the delayed 13.21 and 13.30 to WORTHING calling at Hove, Aldrington, Portslade, Fishersgate, Southwick, Shoreham-by-Sea, Lancing and WORTHING.

This is an improvement. The current ad now says:

Hotel Worthing
Urlaubsreisen, Flüge, Hotels online buchen und richtig sparen

The improvement continues. Earlier this morning we had an advertisement for hotels in Worthing; are invited to view current Worthing house prices and are advised that ‘Michael Jones sell Commercial Properties in West Sussex.’

I am hoping the following words will encourage the advertisers to display some information about the train services between Brighton and WORTHING.

Southern Rail; heavily delayed; overrunning engineering work during the rush hour affecting journeys between WORTHING and West WORTHING; wrong kind of leaves on the line; we apologise for the late arrival of this train - this was caused by a broken-down train at Littlehampton.

those google ads in full

It doesn't seem to be working very well. A minute ago I had a load of ads about protecting your children from being molested (Ha!) and now I've got this:

Koop & Verkoop music
CD's, Vinyl en muziekinstrumenten Snel, gemakkelijk en veilig op eBay

And what, I should like to know, does that have to do with the price of fish?

I've discovered that if you keep pressing CTRL + F5 on the same page you get an endless procession of different ads, each more irrelevant than the one before. Perhaps Messrs Worthing Lo-speed Trains, or whatever they're called this week, have exhausted their advertising budget.

Stop press

Thank you for continuing to make us laugh, squirrel.

Here for you are two of my kind-a pictures.
