Someone who writes under the name of *unty has advertised this forum on a heavily censored fetish site.

For this selfless act we are pleased to confer upon *unty, honorary membership of our Happy Circle.

I have made an appalling mistake. I assumed that the message from *unty on the fetish forum advertising a site on Network54 was referring to this School Corporal Punishment Forum.

However, this afternoon *unty wrote again to the fetish site thus:

‘I posted to Network54 a few weeks ago when someone else i [sic] know asked me to say something in their defence. It is a horrid site filled with nasty people who like plain speaking and who like to be rude to anyone they dont [sic] agree with. I would say to anyone here who is looking for another site to look at and for one filled with rude posts being cross or sarcastic...go to Network54.’


I now realise that *unty has been writing about another site on Network54. No one would describe the esteemed members of our Happy Circle as “nasty people who like plain speaking”. Furthermore no contribution from someone called ‘*unty’ has been sent to this forum within the last few weeks.

I cannot tell you how wretched I feel in having given the wrong information this morning. Members are entitled to have a membership secretary in whom they have confidence and who will ensure that this forum will remain ‘respected, loved, revered.’ I therefore tender my resignation as Membership Secretary of this Forum. I am very sorry to have misled you all.

I do hope Membership Secretary will consider again about resigning. Just because some ignoramus acts like a *unt on another site. And after all we do have 1 or 2 sarcastic carpers on this site. And I asume it is possible to send an E-mail to that site to correct the wrong impression so far given.
