Having read many messages on many message boards, I am convinced that only a small percentage of females have an interest in corporal punishment.

Why do so many silly men pretend to be women on the net?

Take a trip over to the chatrooms on spankingchat.com (aka spankinginternet.com) and you'll find hordes of fake females - each one of them believing he's the only fake on the site.

There is a clique of women 'subs' in the main room who chat all day every day are very probably genuine females in serious need of a life.

However, I'm convinced that almost every other 'female' sub and almost every Domme on the Internet spanking scene is a man in disguise. I have chatted with most of them and I have no doubt I'm right.

Obviously, there are exceptions to the rule (our own dear Deep Pan?) but they are very few and very far between.

I've also chatted with Freddie and he seemed to be a very nice man. He was also able to chat about subjects other than CP in an intelligent manner.

Freddie and I had the odd 'contratemps' on this forum and we were, as I recall, more than a little scathing of each other.

I am, however, fairly confident that the nice man I spoke to was none other than the real Freddie.

In fact, this is quite true, in the sense that it is well documented that Michael Jackson WAS "switched" as a child by his father.

Our American cousins actually did a tv programme about jackson's childhood and featured instances where he was told to "cut a switch" and there have been numerous references to his upbringing as a result of his recent "trial".

So, whoever "sally" is, the statement is quite correct - Jackson was switched [rather than caned] on his rear end - what was never revealed was wether or not he was wearing anything during the punishment - problably best left to the imagination I guess.

I would definitely agree with this. It is well known in the U.S. that all of the Jackson kids were corporally punished as children. The use of a switch (thin branch from a tree) is a fairly common Southern implement. I am not sure however that it could ever be compared to a rattan cane such as would have been used in a "public" school in the UK in the 50's. While I never have personally been switched, I have it on good information that it stings like crazy but still not so bad compared to the descriptions I have gotten from Old Boys on the sensation of Six of the Best.

Maybe "flogged" would have been suitable or catch-all. In any case, word has long had it Joe Jackson was pretty cruel to his kids.

Culturally, it is sometimes difficult to come up with the word that represents a common meaning.

In my part of the U.S., the word "flogged" would conjure images of a military recipient tied down, stripped to the waist and beaten with a horse whip on the back.

An Aussie friend would use the same term to describe a schoolboy punishment by the Headmaster where the lad would get "Six of the Best" with a rattan school cane on the bare bum while bending touching his toes or bending over the arm of a chair.
